THE GARDENS



The Gardens – Residential complex, is an aesthetically appealing landmark off the Sheikh Zayed Road, between interchange No. 5 & 6. The complex covering an area of 220 hectares includes 129 Nos. residential blocks accommodating over 3800 centrally air-conditioned residential apartments.

This District Cooling Plant is first of its kind in Dubai and is designed for a total of 20,800 TR capacity with two chiller plant rooms involving approximately 31 KM of buried insulated chilled water piping feeding chilled water to 129 buildings.  The District Cooling System provides effective air-conditioning system with substantial savings in power consumption over conventional cooling system with air-cooled split air-conditioners.  Also, due to reduction in total connected load in power supply from DEWA, sizable savings could be achieved in capital costs such as cabling network and DEWA connection charges.  GDS has successfully handed over the “The Gardens - Residential Complex for Jebel Ali Properties”.
